In this book, all effects in the Vol 6 of Mind Mysteries DVD are dissected and explained further. Each effect is divided into 2 parts, the history part of the effect and the analysis part. This book is easy to read but it will make better sense to you if you have the DVD.
The routine’s methods are not explained in this book, that’s why it’s called a guide book. This book is filled with information with regards to the routines in Vol 6 DVD. Would it make you a better performer? It’d probably would. If you are using the materials in the DVD, this book will help you improve your performance.
Besides routines in the book in which the modus operandi are not discussed, Richard Osterlind has included a section at the end of the book that you can do even without owning the DVD. These are some stunts as well a card trick which is easy to do.
Richard Osterlind is a very talented man and he has invented a vast amount of effects and has shared it with the magic community. If you are a fan of his, you should get the DVD as well as the guide book.
